inbro SeeInside doesn’t use ‘page turning’ or ‘page flipping’ technology because we think the complicated and gimmicky interfaces distract attention from what really matters – your content.
When we were designing inbro SeeInside we took some time to survey what was already available. We found most suppliers use animation software to try and make an online experience that replicates the ‘page turns’ of a printed document.
We think inbro SeeInside, implemented as a normal website with no need for plug-ins, does a better job than any page flipper we’ve ever seen at serving our publishers’ readers.
Here’s why:
- many page flippers have multi-second waits for a download to complete before they can be used. inbro is near instant. Your readers won’t wait.
- many page flippers need a plug-in to work. Sometimes this will be out of date or not installed so your reader is interrupted by an extra prompt or download before they can read your content.
- the page turning animations, while they have a little ‘eye candy’ effect for a few moments, soon become tiresome and distract attention from the content. (Some even have crinkly-page sound effects!).
- page flippers usually have various complicated interfaces for activating the page turning, zooming in/out and so on, again we find all these confusing, inconsistent, hard to use and distracting from the content.
- with inbro’s system, every brochure page has a unique URL (web address) for bookmarking and sharing.
- inbro SeeInside works in any modern web browser, including mobile systems.
- inbro SeeInside, being a website, is easily spidered by search engines.
inbro’s job is to make it as easy as possible for your readers to read your content. We think inbro SeeInside’s simple interface is the most effective way to do this.
Top - How can inbro SeeInside be customised for my brand?

- using inbro Publisher, you can upload your logo, this is used throughout your inbro service to help branding
- add your telephone number and web site URL to inbro Publisher and they will be published in the footer area of every inbro SeeInside page (and used in inbro Select emails too). This sentence can be customised to say something else if you require.
- inbro will also set up a custom colour scheme for you, to match your main website and brand colours. Please see the screenshots on this page for examples.
- Can my customers easily print pages from inbro SeeInside?

Yes, it’s very simple. No special tools or menus are needed, printing is handled with the normal print functionality of their web browser.
When printing from two page view or single page view, all of the website’s navigation and framing is removed from the printed version, all all your customers print is your page content.
